We collect only what we need to provide Ship. Your data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train AI models, and you can delete it anytime.

What We Collect

Account Info

Email, name, and password (encrypted) to create and manage your account.

Your Signals

When you connect integrations, we import feedback data from Slack messages and Linear tickets that you choose to sync. This data stays in your workspace and is used solely to help you identify product opportunities.

Basic Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to understand how people use Ship. No personal tracking, no cookies for ads.

How We Use Your Data

Provide the service (analyze signals, generate opportunities)
Send important service updates
Process payments via Polar
Improve Ship based on aggregate usage patterns

AI and Your Data

We use AI (via Anthropic) to analyze your signals and identify patterns. Your data is sent to our AI provider to process requests, but:

We do not train AI models on your data
Our AI provider (Anthropic) does not use API inputs for training
Processing happens on-demand and data is not retained by the AI provider

Third-Party Services

We use a few services to run Ship:

Vercel (hosting)
Neon (database)
Polar (payments)
Anthropic (AI)
Plausible (analytics)

Each has their own privacy policy. We've chosen providers with strong privacy practices.

Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We follow security best practices. That said, no system is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You can:

Access your data anytime in the dashboard
Export your data
Delete your account and all associated data

Cookies

We only use essential cookies for authentication. No tracking cookies, no ad cookies.
