1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ship ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ship is a product management tool that aggregates user feedback signals from various sources, uses AI to identify patterns and opportunities, and helps teams prioritize what to build. The Service includes web-based software, integrations, and related features.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

Ship offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees based on your selected plan
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the billing period ends
  • No refunds for partial months or unused features

Payments are processed securely through Polar. We do not store your payment information directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. By using Ship, you grant us a license to process your data solely to provide the Service. We use AI to analyze your feedback signals, but we do not use your data to train AI models or share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Ship integrates with third-party services (Slack, Linear, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ship and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
